SEN011 EnOcean Indoor Opening Sensor - Installation and Setup Follow
SEN011 EnOcean Indoor Opening Sensor is to secure, warn, report or monitor, you will always know if your door or window is open / closed.
The EnOcean Indoor Opening Sensor allows multiple configuration depending on your requirements. Switch ON or OFF your lights automatically when somebody enters a room, set-up your sensor to trip the alarm system and protect doors / windows to avoid break in and thefts, automatically switch OFF the heating system if the window is open, launch a “Welcome” scenario as soon as you are entering home after work. Reporting to your automation gateway or supervision system every time you or somebody open or closes a door / window. Simple and reliable, this small sensor will be your perfect sidekick to improve your comfort, security and help important energy savings.

Do not install the device in a metal shielded box or in an environment surrounded by other electrical equipment to avoid affecting the wireless transmission of the device.

The using environment should be kept away from strong magnetic fields, so as not to affect the accuracy.

Distance sensor/magnet needs to be 5mm max.
Install
- Both parts of the device come preinstalled with double sided adhesive tape.
- The main unit can be mounted with screws. To access this the unit has a sliding back plate that you can slide across and the plate comes away from the main unit. The back plate can then be installed and the main unit reattached by sliding it back across the installed back plate.

Connecting devices to an EnOcean receiver
SEN011 devices will each have a their own unique EnOcean ID. This can be found on the inside of the the main unit by sliding across and removing the backing plate. Here you will find the devices EnOcean label.
Once this ID is obtained this is used to configure the device within MobiusFlow so data is received.
Also as show in the above image is the learn button which can be used to learn this device to other EnOcean devices or gateways.
The EnOcean EEP details are listed on the device label. You need to make sure the correct node is used in MobiusFlow for the device to work.
Powering the Device
The devices is always powered ON and will only send data when it has a state change.
- If the device is not sending data when there is a state change this may be due to lack of harvested energy where the device maybe in a dark place. If this is the case please add a CR1216 battery to the device.
Inserting batteries in to the device.
- Remove the backing plate by sliding it away from the main unit. The battery holder is now accessible. Insert battery and reinstall the backing plate.
Failure to receive data - If unable to receive data from the device, start by checking the device verification information on the gateway and the device match.
