Configuring Objects and Resources (Overview) Follow
Configuring objects
Selecting an object in the configuration tree displays the object's configuration page. The object's Instance, Name, Description and Location fields are shown for all objects, irrespective of object type. In addition to these standard fields, some objects have custom fields displayed on the list. e.g. EnOcean devices also have the EnOcean UID shown as a field.
With the exception of the Instance field, all other fields map to a resource belonging to this object and any value entered on this page will update the relevant resource's default value (priority 15).
